Week 3: GSoC with OpenMRS
This week was all about debugging the Issues in the offline functionality in the provider module.
Amr Salah did majority of the work in an old PR where he was trying to deal with some Issues of the offline addition of the provider module PR-891. I tried to put in place a few edge cases like what if “A provider was added and then deleted offline” so ideally we should not sync that provider to the servers.
I also extended the PR to editing and deletion operations and made sure everything works well in tandem. currently I am working on getProvider() method and trying to fix some anomalies there also in this PR-910.
In addition I have completed the Issue pertaining to memory leaks in fragments due to binding variables in 5 seperate PRs each for a particular fragment which are currently under review.
Next Week the focus will shift from provider module to other modules and I will be trying to enable offline functionalities for each of the repositories one by one before the first evaluations come up !!.
