Week 0 : GSoC with OpenMRS
GSoC 2021 community bonding period has come and gone in a flash , time flies when you are enjoying its the same with OpenMRS.
Oh Did I forgot to tell that, I will be working with OpenMRS this year in Google Summer of Code on the Android Client Project 😍.
My mentors will be Rishabh and Juliet. I have already known these people for a while, working for OpenMRS, they are always been supportive and fun to work with .
The next week kicks off the coding period of the project, which Runs uptill 16th of August, we have already discussed about the proposal and the work that has to be done each week.
The project this year wont be focused on extension OpenMRS client and Including more and more modules from the refApp, rather it would be focused on making the Android Client more easily extendable which is really necessary for making it more usable.
I even started working on some Issues before-hand to cope up with my ongoing Internship as well as upcoming GSoC work, I have created a small repository where I will be updating all my work for this edition of GSoC .
I am really excited for the eventful summer ahead and another year of collaboration with this wonderful community.
